Job Qualification Requirements:
Work Experience: Must have at least 24 months of relevant work experience as a grocery store and produce market manager.
Special Skills and Other Requirements: Must be knowledgeable with produce market sourcing, pricing, merchandising, industry and trends ; Must be proficient in inventory management and point of sale (POS) systems; Must have good understanding of retail financial systems; must have the ability to make well-informed, impartial decisions; must have good trouble shooting and critical thinking abilities; must be knowledgeable with health and safety standards, including knowledge of food safety practices, hazard prevention and relevant regulations; Must have a strong understanding of financial principles in a retail store environment that help optimize profits while delivering value to customers; Must have a deep understanding of product placement, layout design and promotional displays to help attract customers and increase sales; must have strong leadership skills, including demonstrated team-building skills; and Must have excellent communication skills including good listening skills and ability to provide clear direction, both written and verbal.
